Stöd för IUSTITIA och rättsstaten i Polen

Det europeiska domareförbundets ordförande har uttalat sig till stöd för det polska domareförbundet IUSTITIA och upprätthållandet av rättsstaten i Polen. Detta med anledning av den polska "författningsdomstolens" dom den 7 oktober 2021 om att EU-rätten inte har företräde i Polen. Sveriges Domareförbund deltar i det europeiska domareförbundets uttalande. Bl.a. uttalas följande:

"In the name of European Association of Judges with its 44 Members, and as part of the International Association of Judges composed of 94 national Associations, I can only fully support the efforts of IUSTITIA to re-establish the rule of law in Poland and encourage them in their intention to abide by the rulings of the European Court of Justice.

The struggle of IUSTITIA is inspiration for all judges in Europe, and in line with, numerous statements, resolutions and opinions delivered by EAJ, EAJ stays alongside today and in days to come with Polish judges."
